En el antiguo Egipto, un malvado hechicero llamado Scarab, mata a hijo del Faraón, el príncipe Ramses, así que puede convertirse en inmortal. Enterrado vivo por su crimen, Scarab revive en el mundo moderno y comienza su búsqueda de la reencarnación de Ramses, cuando un chico de San Francisco llamado Presley Carnovan para recuperar el espíritu de los Ramses para que pueda convertirse en inmortal.
